Get Caught Up

So where to begin.....Well after a year of traveling back and forth on the weekends, we finally live in the same city. I moved up from St. George and in with Jake in his house in Monroe. We still have Fisher and have now added a little shih tzu named Bandit. I am working at the Century21 office and doing classes online in Business & Accounting. All of Jake's hard work paid off as we started our own business.

Wildfire Preparation LLC is finally up and running. After a lot of hard work and planning, we offically started work May 5th. Our goal is to help home owners create defensible space around their homes and cabins. Jake uses his 8 years of fire experience to help consult people about what they can do to help protect their property. I am the one that keeps Jake and the paperwork organized.

We bought a big tree eater to make Jake's job a little easier. A 17" capacity Bandit chipper. He's still in awe as it gobbles up the trees. He's been doing some work for the state and we hope to get some jobs on private property.

We did a booth the end of April at the Sevier County Natural Resource Fair. We handed out a lot of business cards and talked to people about the importance of having defensible space. It was our first big outing for the company.
